Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi by international flight. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - New Jalpaiguri (by Rajdhani Express - Overnight train)
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will be given half day tour of Delhi. Later transfer to railway station to board overnight train for NJP. Overnight on board.
Day 03: Arrive NJP
New Jalpaiguri is a sister city of the city of Siliguri in India's state of West Bengal. The appellation Jalpaiguri means olives in Bengali. The town is popularly known by its acronym NJP. It is located at a distance of sixteen kilometres from Siliguri. New Jalpaiguri is a major railway junction linking north eastern India to the rest of the country.
Upon arrival at NJP, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: NJP - Darjeeling by Toy train
In the morning you will be transferred to NJP train station to board toy train for Darjeeling. Darjeeling the dream land of the East, it has been a popular hill station since the British period. The tourist flow to this place has been increasing day by day. Due to the proximity with three international borders, this place is strategically very important. Darjeeling is surrounded by lofty mountains. Outside of the monsoon season (June to September), the views over the mountains to the snowy peaks of Kanchenjunga and down to the swollen rivers in the valleys are magnificent. Darjeeling is a fascinating place where you can see Buddhist monasteries, visit a tea plantation and see how the tea is processed, go for a ride on the chairlift, spend days hunting for bargains in colorful markets and handicraft shops, or go trekking to high-altitude spots for closer views of Kanchenjunga.
Upon arrival at Darjeeling railway station, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: In Darjeeling
After breakfast proceed for the sight seeing of Darjeeling covering Parmesan Nadia Himalayan Zoological park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Ropeway,Tensing -Gumbo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center , Tea Estate, Lebong Race Course , Peace Pagoda. & Rock Garden – Gangamaya Park.Night stay in Darjeeling.
Day 06: In Darjeeling
Early morning excursion to Tiger Hill, Ghoom Monastery & Batasia Loop. Return to the Hotel. After breakfast at the hotel proceed for Mirik Lake via Nepal border. Rest of the day is at Leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Darjeeling - NJP/Bagdogra
Breakfast at the hotel. Later transfer to Bagdogra or NJP to connect flight/train for onward destination.
